"I'm not putting my dog in a cage!" That was indignant me before my Raffi arrived. My sister convinced me to try it and wow, it saved my sanity. What a wonderful place his "den" turned out to be both for of us. Done right your pup will love his "den", after all, that's where dogs feel safe. I used a sheet covering three sides which made my boy feel more secure. He is nearly 2, I leave the door open and he sleeps in his crate of his own volition. I urge you to give it a go. This is how it is done "right".
